“I got here by being consistent, patient, and lucky. I spent a lot of time questioning myself and wondering if what I was doing was worth it, and looking back I can tell you 100% that it was always worth it. Being an artist is like a gig where you can never clock out of, even while at your other job, and you will always find the time to get to the studio. It’s hard and definitely takes a fair amount of social sacrifices, but you do it. There’s no corporate ladder to climb, you just keep doing you and trust that at some point, it will all come together. Maybe I have a gambling addiction and this is my casino, I’m not sure, but I’ve enjoyed the ride so far and look forward to what is down that road.” By Andy Li
About Andy:
Andy Li is a Boston based artist who focuses on the power of now. His work is a reflection of the day to day mundane and the moments of greatness that we perceive in an instant. Some days you will see him hunched over a single thread for hours on end, and other days you will see him running back and forth with three different cameras trying to find the best light. A believer in the suggestive nature of positivity, more often you will see him encouraging those around him to keep failing in order to keep getting better. Always trying to adapt and evolve, his work and his personal attitude is the visual exploration to the saying, "You can't make an omelette without cracking a few eggs." @radandyli
